Girish Kunte

Girish is a patent analyst mostly working in the domains of chemistry and materials. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Materials Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a post-graduate diploma in Intellectual property rights law from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore.

He has over eight years of work experience in academia and industry, working as a patent analyst at General Electric, Bangalore, as a materials characterization engineer at Bloom Energy, Mumbai, and as materials characterization technology manager at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.

His areas of specialization include electronic materials, thin film deposition, advanced materials characterization and patent analytics, patent law, and business analysis. He has over ten publications in various national and international journals.
